GSK Announces Senior Appointment to International Management

Tuğbay Ekinli Appointed as General Counsel and Vice President, GSK International Region.
Tuğbay Ekinli has been appointed to the position of General Counsel and Vice President responsible for GSK's International Region, which was created by consolidating the Asia Pacific region (including Japan, China and Australia), Canada, Latin America, Middle East and Africa regions, and encompasses over 150 countries. Ekinli will assume his new responsibilities effective 1 September 2025 and will serve on the International Region Leadership Team in this role.
A graduate of Ankara Faculty of Law who has held leadership positions in numerous national and international companies throughout his professional career, Ekinli joined GSK in 2007 as General Counsel. Since 2012, Ekinli has served in various senior global and regional roles within GSK, including General Counsel for the Middle East and Africa Region, General Counsel for the MENA/CIS (Middle East, Africa and Commonwealth of Independent States) and Russia region, and Vice President of International Legal Operations. Most recently, he served as General Counsel and Vice President, Emerging Markets.
This latest leadership appointment by GSK is an important indicator of the company's international career opportunities offered to its employees under the talent management model it applies on a global scale.
