Applications Open for 'Female Entrepreneurship Power Competition'

Under the auspices of the Women Entrepreneurs Board of the Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Union (TOBB), the country's most widespread women entrepreneurship network, and in cooperation with the Turkish Economic Policy Research Foundation (TEPAV), the "Turkey's Enterprising Women Power Competition" has launched. The "Turkey's Enterprising Women Power Competition," planned to be held annually, aims to position finalists as opinion leaders in their respective regions and serve as inspiration for potential female entrepreneur candidates through the success stories of their companies. The Turkey's Enterprising Women Power Competition consists of two separate categories: "Company Increasing Women Employment the Most" and "Enterprising Women Power." Only female entrepreneurs can apply to the Enterprising Women Power category, and participants will receive awards in the criteria of "Fastest Growing Female Entrepreneur," "Most Environmentally Friendly Female Entrepreneur," "Most Digitalized Female Entrepreneur," and "Female Entrepreneur Increasing Exports the Most." The "Company Increasing Women Employment the Most" category will be open to applications from all companies. Applications for the competition will be accepted until 30 September 2022. Companies selected will receive their awards on 19 November 2022, World Women Entrepreneurs Day, with the participation of TOBB President M. Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu and TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board Chair Nurten Öztürk.       Turkish Economic Policy Research Foundation (TEPAV) was established by a group of business executives, bureaucrats and academics to conduct evidence-based policy analysis and contribute to the policy design process. TEPAV began operations in December 2004 to conduct studies that would increase the data content of policy discussions in Turkey. In addition to developing policy recommendations, we contribute to putting our ideas into practice by developing concrete projects in the relevant fields.
