# Employment Support from GEBKİM

GEBKIM Employment Support The Technology Development and Solutions Center (GEBTEK), established in GEBKIM, Turkey's first chemistry-focused organized industrial zone, has partnered with municipal administrations, district governorates, employment agencies and village headmen in the Dilovası and Gebze regions to contribute to employment. Job seekers have been brought together at the employment office of Dilovası Municipality and the Dilovası District Governorate, and submitted applications are being evaluated by GEBKIM OSB member companies. GEBTEK Human Resources Unit specialists meeting with job seekers at Dilovası Municipality and Dilovası District Governorate buildings will submit the applications they collect to GEBKIM OSB member firms for evaluation.

"We Will Facilitate Matters for Both Job Candidates and Our Industrial Establishments"

GEBKIM OSB Board Chairman Vefa İbrahim Aracı, emphasizing that they operate with a "city, people, environment" approach as an OSB, said: "Our journey that we began with GEBKIM Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School to train qualified workers progressed with the activation of GEBTEK. Through the cooperation agreement signed by GEBTEK and Gebze Technical University, we brought the strength of academia to our side. With the vocational training liaison office established within our OSB, we also contribute to vocational education. With the employment initiative we have launched in our region, we will reach our workers firsthand, register the workforce around us, and facilitate matters for both job candidates and our industrial establishments."

Meetings to Continue

The GEBKIM Human Resources Unit stated that it will continue to evaluate applications submitted to the municipality, district governorate, village headmen and employment agency, and emphasized that new meetings can be organized at the District Governorate and Municipality buildings as applications are collected. Registered applications have been submitted to the attention of GEBKIM OSB member organizations, enabling firms to reach the workforce they need immediately. Growing through sustainable investments, GEBKIM OSB aims to support employment by directly reaching workers in the region.
