GEBKİM OSB Takes Important Step for Employment

Important Employment Initiative from GEBKİM OSB Turkey's first specialised chemical industry OIZ, GEBKİM, continues its efforts to contribute to regional employment through the Technology Development and Solutions Centre (GEBTEK) established within its premises. Following meetings in the Dilovası and Gebze regions, GEBKİM officials have also engaged with Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Employment Office and will organise a meeting event where they can meet directly with job seekers in the region. Candidates will be informed about the recruitment process at this event. Additionally, human resources managers from GEBKİM OSB member industrial enterprises met at GEBKİM MTAL. Collaboration was initiated for internship and job applications. The Technology Development Centre (GEBTEK) operating within GEBKİM, Turkey's first specialised chemical industry OIZ, continues its efforts to meet the human resources needs of GEBKİM OSB member companies and strengthen regional employment. Following engagement with the Employment Office in the Kocaeli Dilovası and Gebze regions, GEBKİM OSB will now meet with candidates who have applied to Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Employment Office.

"Guidance on Job Interview Preparation Will Be Provided"

Meeting on 11 February Friday with Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Employment Office Director Öztekin Kaşukçi and Employment Division Manager Erdal Polat, GEBKİM OSB Human Resources Manager Ruken Barışık said: "As we have done previously in the Dilovası and Gebze regions, we will now meet directly with job-seeking candidates in Kocaeli. In particular, our young candidates seeking internships will have the opportunity to receive training from us on CV preparation and effective self-expression in job interviews, thereby enhancing their preparation level."

GEBKİM MTAL to Lead in Internship and Job Applications

GEBKİM Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (MTAL) hosted human resources managers from regional companies. The human resources specialists received at GEBKİM MTAL were informed about possible joint projects with GEBKİM participants, internship opportunities to be offered to GEBKİM MTAL students, and the Vocational Training Centre Programme presentation topics.

'Part of Our Contribution to Employment'

Emphasising that GEBKİM OSB operates on the principles of 'city, people, environment', GEBKİM OSB Board Chairman Vefa İbrahim Aracı stated: "The journey we began with GEBKİM Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School to train qualified workers has developed with the activation of GEBTEK. Through the cooperation agreement signed between GEBTEK and Gebze Technical University, we have added academic strength to our resources. With the vocational education liaison office established within our OIZ, we contribute to vocational training. Through the employment initiative we have launched in our region, we will reach our employees firsthand, register the workforce around us, thereby facilitating matters for both job candidates and our industrial enterprises."
