GAİB Given Important Responsibilities at TİM In a written statement from the General Secretariat of Southeastern Anatolian Exporters Associations (GAİB), the results of the concluded exporters associations and Turkish Exporters Council (TİM) elections were evaluated. The statement noted that "GAİB has assumed highly important responsibilities and duties within TİM. We will continue working with all our associations to exceed the USD 12 billion target set for the end of 2022." Following the conclusion of the Exporters Associations and Turkish Exporters Council (TİM) elections held across Turkey, the GAİB General Secretariat issued a written statement evaluating the election results. The statement said: "Exporters Associations and Turkish Exporters Council elections are held once every four years within the framework of relevant regulations. Within this scope, the results of the elections held in April, May and June represent considerable success for our Southeastern Anatolian Exporters Association. All four Associations operating under our General Secretariat have been selected for highly influential roles in national decision-making processes."

GAİB given important duties at TİM

In a written statement from the GAİB General Secretariat: "Over the next four years, our associations will serve as Sector Council chairs in the Textiles and Raw Materials; Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Carpets sectors; and as Deputy Sector Council chair in the Dried Fruit sector. This outcome means that for the first time, national secretariat services for three sectors will be conducted by our General Secretariat. Additionally, our Association has the honour of being represented for the first time with three members in the Turkish Exporters Council Sectors Council; and for the first time with two members in the Board of Directors. Most importantly, we are pleased that for the first time, our Association has produced a Deputy Chair of the Turkish Exporters Council. On this occasion, we congratulate those selected for these valuable positions: Turkish Exporters Council Deputy Chair Ahmet Fikret Kileci, Turkish Exporters Council Board Member Salahattin Kaplan, Turkish Exporters Council Sectors Council Member Ahmet Tiryakioğlu, Turkish Exporters Council Dried Fruit Sector Council Deputy Chair Mehmet Çıkmaz, and wish them success in their duties for our country."

We plan to exceed the 2022 year-end target

The Southeastern Anatolian Exporters Association (GAİB) General Secretariat emphasized that the individuals selected for positions at the highest levels of TİM from the region will make major contributions to reaching 2022 targets, with the statement continuing as follows: "Undoubtedly, this gratifying outcome will make us even more successful thanks to the presence of thousands of our members who have contributed to reaching our 2023 export targets and the extraordinary support they have provided to our representatives. We wish to note that we are grateful to everyone from A to Z who has contributed to our export growth. Our valued representatives will strive to be worthy of this presence and support in all their duties. Carrying the torch even higher will be their most important objective. We hope that this election process, which has marked many firsts for our Association, will bring good fortune to our export community and our country."
