Ford Otosan Receives Awards in 3 Different Categories
Ford Otosan, a leading company in the Turkish automotive industry, won three awards across three separate categories at the "Strong Communication, Safe Workplace Best Practice Competition" award program held by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security as part of the 35th Occupational Health and Safety Week, with both its Kocaeli and Eskişehir plants.
Ford Otosan, which prioritizes occupational health and safety (OHS) in all its operations, was recognized for three separate awards across three categories at the Strong Communication, Safe Workplace Best Practice Competition Award Program held by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security during the "Occupational Health and Safety Week," which takes place annually between 4-10 May.
At the award ceremony held online in collaboration with the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TİSK) and the TİSK Microsurgery Foundation, with the participation of Minister of Labour and Social Security Vedat Bilgin, Ford Otosan Deputy General Manager of Operations Güven Özyurt and Ford Otosan Eskişehir Plant Manager Aysan Hoşver were also present.
Ford Otosan Kocaeli Plants was recognized with the 'Employee Participation and Partnership Award' for its 'Employee-Participated Digital Risk Reporting System' that prioritizes worker health and safety, while also winning the 'Jury Special Award' for the 'Gumbur Gumbur OHS Theatre' written and performed by Ford Otosan Kocaeli Plant employees. Ford Otosan Eskişehir Plant became the recipient of the 'Purpose-Aligned Work Award' with its 'OHS Selfie' project.
