Decision-Makers of the Finance World Meet at TechFinTech 2026

TechFinTech 2026, bringing together leading names from finance and technology, took place on 15 April at Istanbul Wyndham Grand Levent. In its fourth edition this year, the event addressed the present and future of the digital finance ecosystem from multiple perspectives.

Organized by Bilişim Zirvesi Etkinlik Şirketi and sponsored by Mayasoft, the event drew strong interest in critical topics including real-time economy, artificial intelligence-driven financial decision mechanisms, embedded finance and autonomous systems.

New Rules of Finance Discussed
Opening remarks were delivered by BTHaber General Publication Coordinator Ayhan Sevgi, who emphasized that the fintech ecosystem was entering a period of renewed growth, noting that global investments reached USD 116 billion as of 2025. He stated that in Turkey, the sector had secured the second position in the startup ecosystem with an investment volume of approximately USD 214 million.

Keynote speaker Uğur Kağan Dinçsoy, Managing Partner at Deloitte and Head of Blockchain Services, noted that the fintech world was accelerating its transition from vertical structures to horizontal models, that artificial intelligence applications were transforming user behavior, and that competition would intensify in the coming period.

Mayasoft CEO Yasin Aşır stated that finance's new infrastructure was being reshaped on data and artificial intelligence foundations, emphasizing that future winners would be institutions managing technology securely and in compliance with regulations.

Data and Artificial Intelligence Transform Decision Processes
A main panel titled "C-Suite Decision Making with Data" addressed data-driven decision-making processes. Sector representatives speaking on the panel noted that artificial intelligence played an important role in decision mechanisms, but that final decisions were still shaped by the human factor.

ING Turkey IT Director Hale Kocabıyık drew attention to the importance of sound decision architecture over speed in decision processes, while Koç Finance CFO Doğu Özden stated that data alone was insufficient and needed to be evaluated together with experience and context.

Finance Infrastructure Being Rebuilt
One of the prominent topics at the event was digital resilience in the financial sector. İşNet Sales Director Pınar Tüfenkci said they were facilitating companies' access to artificial intelligence through GPU-based cloud solutions and prioritizing data security and regulatory compliance.

Upsonic CEO Taygun Alban emphasized that artificial intelligence-driven automation solutions increased operational efficiency in financial processes.

Oredata COO Çağlar Kara noted that organizational alignment was as important as technology in determining success in artificial intelligence projects, while Binclusive Co-Founder Atakan Nalbant stated that accessibility played a critical role in financial inclusion.

New Era in Fintech Ecosystem
Economist Dr. Hakan Yurdakul noted that the fintech ecosystem consisted of a three-layered structure, saying that achieving integration among these layers was critical for sector growth.
