Filli Boya Acquired by Japanese Firm
Japan-based Nippon Paint Co has acquired Betek Boya ve Kimya Sanayi A.Ş, which also owns the Filli Boya brand.
Betek issued a statement on the matter: "Betek A.Ş. has completed a major and important step in its evaluation process for cooperation aimed at developing market opportunities with regard to its future plans, having made progress toward its growth objectives through strategic investments in paints and coatings sectors in Turkey and our region.
Betek A.Ş., a pioneer in its sector in our country, has signed a share transfer agreement with Nippon Paint Co, Asia and Japan's leading brand and the world's fourth-largest paints manufacturer.
