Filli Boya Launches "Filli Female Master Craftspeople" Project

Filli Boya, in cooperation with the Ministry of Family and Social Policies (ASPB) and the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), is launching the "Filli Female Master Craftspeople" project to increase the contribution of Turkey's female workforce to the country's development. In the first phase, training will begin in 15 provinces and all women aged 20-50 seeking work and wishing to be employed may apply. The project aims to award Professional Competency Certificates to approximately 300 female master craftspeople and integrate them into the workforce by the end of 2016.

Filli Boya, which reflects its strong commitment to national values and development through corporate responsibility projects and creates awareness through its activities, is undertaking another pioneering initiative with the "Filli Female Master Craftspeople" project.

The Filli Female Master Craftspeople project, launched to support women's professional development and workforce participation in Turkey, aims to train job-seeking women as painting master craftspeople. Through the Filli Female Master Craftspeople project, the goal is not only to help women acquire a profession but also to support their confidence and enable them to approach the future with hope.

Women who successfully complete training will begin their careers as painting master craftspeople

Within the scope of the project carried out by Filli Boya in cooperation with the Ministry of Family and Social Policies (ASPB) and the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), candidates wishing to become Filli Female Master Craftspeople can apply to the İŞKUR Provincial Directorate/Service Center in the 15 provinces that form the initial phase of the project. In centers to be established in these same provinces, female candidates will undergo detailed training to learn the intricacies of paint manufacturing. Those who successfully pass the examination following the training will be eligible to receive the MYK Professional Competency Certificate. Starting in May 2016, those without an MYK Professional Competency Certificate will no longer be able to work as master craftspeople.

Within the scope of the project, it is planned to award MYK Professional Competency Certificates to 200-300 female master craftspeople in 2016. Female master craftspeople receiving this certificate will also gain membership in the "Filli Master Craftspeople" loyalty program prepared by Filli Boya for master craftspeople, which offers points and various rewards. Female master craftspeople who successfully complete their training will be well-equipped to begin their new professions to add color to living spaces.

Women wishing to become painting master craftspeople can apply through İŞKUR

Within the scope of the project, training will initially be provided in Denizli, Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adana, Antalya, Bursa, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Konya, Samsun, Şanlıurfa, Trabzon, Tekirdağ, and Van. Free training scheduled to begin in April and organized at different times in each province will be attended by approximately 250 women total across the 15 provinces. During the five-day training, female painting master craftspeople candidates will receive technical and practical training under the headings of paint properties, painting techniques, and materials instruction by experts.
