Filli Boya Continues Its Enduring Support in the Lands Where the Great Victory Was Won

Filli Boya became the "eternal" supporter of the Çanakkale Battles Gallipoli Historical Area six years ago and began providing maintenance, preservation and renovation support to the region. Turkey's most beloved paint brand, which aims to pass on the Çanakkale spirit to future generations, continues its work in the area on the 110th anniversary of the Great Victory.

Çanakkale, a significant historical turning point on the road to the founding of the Turkish Republic and where the army under Mustafa Kemal's command achieved victory that changed the course of history, is an open-air museum visited by millions of people from Turkey and abroad each year. Within the Çanakkale Battles Gallipoli Historical Area, which covers almost the entire peninsula, there are martyrs' cemeteries and monuments, museums, fortresses and bastions. Filli Boya, under the administration of the Historical Area Directorate, continues to implement the corporate social responsibility project called "Salute to Victory" with its mission as Eternal Supporter in preserving the region's original vitality, which increases visitor numbers.

Eternal Protocol signed
Under the Filli Boya Salute to Victory project, which began with the aim of transferring cultural heritage and living spaces to future generations and has continued for six years, veteran villages and schools in the region were painted first. Thus, Filli Boya signed an "Eternal Protocol" with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Çanakkale Battles Gallipoli Historical Area Directorate, voluntarily committing to protect this unique historical area in perpetuity.

Stop Traveller Monument visible 24 hours
Filli Boya renovated the world-symbolized "Stop Traveller Monument" with paints that are visible 24 hours. The surroundings of the monument, which was painted with a special paint, were also redesigned. Following the renovation, the Stop Traveller Monument became visible at night from all angles of the Çanakkale Strait.

Filli Boya's contribution to Mustafa Kemal Road
Filli Boya took another valuable step by becoming the supporter of the Çanakkale Battles Gallipoli Historical Area Directorate's new visitor route "Mustafa Kemal Road" with the aim of transferring the region's cultural heritage and living spaces to future generations. The project, which covers the renovation and arrangement of the 17-kilometer route that Mustafa Kemal followed from his arrival in Çanakkale to the headquarters he established in Bigalı Village and in the war zone, has begun to relive in the Republic's new century the great victory that was a turning point in Atatürk's and the Turkish nation's lives.

On Mustafa Kemal Road, which was inaugurated in the 100th year of our Republic Day and opened to visitors last year, numerous events were organized for children and young people, and walks were held with local residents. Since opening to visitors, thousands of people have taken steps to walk the same path as Atatürk on the land where he first appeared on the historical stage.

Salute to the Çanakkale Spirit
As Filli Boya moves forward with the goal of keeping the Çanakkale spirit alive forever and passing it on to future generations in all its vitality, it also turned Çanakkale's historical value into a permanent documentary through the transmission of expert academics. The documentary "Salute to the Çanakkale Spirit" was prepared to understand and convey the period when the spirit of solidarity was engraved in history as the Çanakkale spirit. The documentary conveys how the self-sacrifice, unity and solidarity spirit that led to the Çanakkale Victory paved the way for the struggle that would result in the founding of the Republic in the following years.
