Turkish File Makers Become Number One in Europe

Our National Women's Volleyball Team found its first gold medal in the 3rd European Championship final. The Sultans of the Net defeated Serbia 3-2 in the final, achieving both the revenge for 2019 and becoming Europe's number one. In the centennial year of the Republic, the Sultans of the Net, completing the missing pieces in the collection one by one, made history in the European arena while claiming their first Nations League championship and leading the world rankings. Turkey's pride, the National Women's Volleyball Team, became the holder of the gold medal in Europe following the Nations League. We faced a fierce battle with Serbia, whom we had previously lost to in a final, falling behind twice in sets. We showed the Serbs in Belgium that 'it is not over until the Turks say it is over'. We fought magnificently in the deciding set. Melissa Vargas's 41st point in the match brought the European championship to the Sultans of the Net. Source
