Hybrid Solution for Enerjisa

YEO, which integrates solar or wind energy into existing power plants and transports organizations toward a carbon-free future through hybrid systems, continues to grow in this field in Turkey. YEO Teknoloji is providing hybrid solutions to Enerjisa across 5 power plants. A total of 58 MW of solar energy solutions will be added to existing power plants, generating electricity equivalent to the energy needs of 30,000 households. This will prevent the emission of approximately 150,000 tons of carbon dioxide, equivalent to what 7 million trees would produce.

Target of 100 MW project scale

YEO signed a contract with Enerjisa, one of Turkey's largest energy producers, in the first quarter of this year for the construction of solar energy plants. According to the agreement, collaboration is being carried out for 5 plants with a total capacity of 58 MW in Çanakkale, Balıkesir, Adana and Kayseri. YEO is providing installation services in the field of solar energy for Enerjisa, which has a target of a 100 MW hybrid solar plant within 3 years.

Energy needs of more than 30,000 households to be met through solar energy

The projects for Adana Tufanbeyli Thermal Plant, Balıkesir Bandırma Energy Hub, Çanakkale Wind Energy Plant, Balıkesir Wind Energy Plant (BARES) and Kayseri Erciyes Wind Energy Plant have completed 41.4 MW of the work. With plants reaching a total capacity of 58.2 MW, the energy needs of more than 30,000 households will be met entirely sustainably through solar energy. Upon completion of the plants in question, the emission of more than 150,000 tons of carbon dioxide, equivalent to what 7 million trees would produce, will also be prevented.
