Sovereignty Belongs Unconditionally to the Nation!

On these hot July days, we offer our condolences to the families of the martyrs who lost their lives in the attack launched against our democracy, constitutional order and parliamentary system on the night of 15 July 2016, swift recovery to all our wounded. As Artkim Group, we condemn this traitorous attack perpetrated against our country's unity and solidarity, our democracy and our noble nation. We believe that the noble Turkish nation will overcome the difficult times ahead by uniting and standing together as one.

I am confident you will read with interest the article titled "Water-Based Polyurethanes: Synthesis and Overview" co-authored by Prof. Dr. Burhan Ateş and Süleyman Köytepe from İnönü University Department of Chemistry along with their students, the article "Production of Porous Si3N4 Ceramics for Use in the Production of Network-Structured Composite Materials" co-authored by Assistant Professor Ayşe Kalemtaş, Assistant Professor Tülay Aytekin Aydın, Assistant Professor Gülsüm Topateş and their students, and the informative technical articles prepared by Assistant Professor Ali İhsan Kaya from Mehmet Akif Ersoy University on "Composite Materials and Their Properties." In this issue, we also present two engaging interviews. In our candid and pleasant interview with Cavidan Karaca, CEO of Kimteks Poliüretan San. ve Tic. A.Ş., we had the opportunity to learn about his professional background and the development of his company from the past to the present, as well as his R&D activities. In our other interview, we conducted an interview with Erhan Aksu, General Manager of Elite Core Makine Türkiye, regarding his professional background and the development process of the company from its founding to today. Additionally, I would like to extend my gratitude to the valued sector professionals and academics who have stood by us with their strong attendance at this special issue.
