Within the scope of the Future Value Project, DYO continues its "Learning is Worth It" educational programs this year, and starting Monday, 13 May, has begun distributing the DYO Techno Art Set—developed in collaboration with DYO and Twin Robotics—to 2,500 primary school students across Turkey. The goal is to increase children's interest in science and art. DYO, which aims to contribute to Turkey's future through corporate social responsibility projects, adds color to educational life with the "Learning is Worth It" theme that it pursues within the scope of the "Future Value Project." The company, which will gift the DYO Techno Art Set to 2,500 primary school students, aims to increase children's interest in science and art, and support them in dreaming beautiful dreams involving science and art related to the work they might do in the future.

Four Different Experiments for Children

The DYO Techno Art Set, created through collaboration between DYO and Twin Robotics, contains technological tools and colorful gouache paints that will develop children's creativity and foster a love of science. Starting Monday, 13 May, within the framework of the "Learning is Worth It" project, the set is being distributed to children in primary schools across Turkey. With the materials in the set, four different experiments can be conducted. Thus, the set becomes an entertaining activity for children where science meets art, while at the same time offering an opportunity to apply the knowledge they will gain in "Learning is Worth It" educational programs on the subject of color.

Raising Awareness on Color and Light

Through the "Learning is Worth It" project, which DYO launched in the 2015-2016 academic year, primary school students as well as teachers, administrators and parents are provided with information about color, space utilization, thermal comfort and light elements. These educational programs aim to raise awareness so that living spaces can be used effectively and with aesthetic values in mind. DYO contributes to educational life each year with new projects in pursuit of this goal.

Learning is Worth It Touched 42,000 Children in Three Years

In the "Learning is Worth It" project, which is part of DYO's sustainability initiatives, an advisory board was initially formed comprising academics from the Architecture Faculty and Education Sciences Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. This board prepared educational content providing information on color, space utilization, thermal and light elements. Within the scope of the project, training was provided to administrators, classroom teachers and school-parent association members working in schools. During the 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 academic periods, a total of 105 schools provided information to 1,696 teachers, 42,003 students and approximately 83,966 parents on space, color, thermal comfort and light.
