Dinçer Lojistik Reports 20% Revenue Growth

Dinçer Lojistik, a niche but significant player in hazardous materials logistics in Turkey known for its chemical and hazardous chemical services, closed the first quarter of 2017 with over 20% revenue growth compared to the same period last year, exceeding expectations. In addition to the chemical sector, the company provides logistics services to construction, mineral oil, industrial products and automotive sectors. It offers storage and door-to-door distribution services to its customers across a wide range of packaged products from 1-gram packaging to 1-ton IBC containers. In Dilovası, where the chemical sector operates intensively and where environmental impacts are frequently discussed, Dinçer Lojistik established a hazardous chemical materials storage facility with international-standard equipment and began operations in the fourth quarter of 2016. The company continues to grow aggressively in the storage sector. Banu Akbaş, Marketing and Sales Manager at Dinçer Lojistik, stated that there was no hazardous materials warehouse in the Dilovası region meeting SQAS and NFPA standards, and that they filled a serious gap in the sector in this respect. Akbaş, noting that the company has begun operations at 2 new facilities with 30,000-pallet capacity built on a total area of 20,000 m2 in Dilovası, a region strategically positioned near ports and container terminals and regarded as the capital of the chemical sector, continued: "As a result of the dedicated work of our drivers through to our management team and serious infrastructure investments we have made, we have achieved significant market share in the transport sector. This year, by focusing on storage projects, we aim for 2017 to be the 'Storage Year' for Dinçer."
