President Erdoğan Receives TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle and Delegation

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle and his delegation at Çankaya Palace. During the meeting, steps to be taken to strengthen exports, which have critical importance in neutralizing recent economic traps targeting Turkey through exchange rates, were discussed.

"With Our President's Support, Exports Will Reach Their Rightful Place"

TİM Chairman İsmail Gülle stated that the export community is Turkey's domestic strength and Turkey's national power, saying "I must express without any hesitation that the export community is one of the most critical structures that will neutralize the traps set against our country. We will also disrupt the games being played against our country through exchange rates by expanding foreign-currency-generating activities." Gülle said, "The necessary infrastructure will be created for an even greater export surge in the coming period, just as it is today in our country. With the support given to us by our President, exports will reach their rightful place. In line with the targets we received from you, we will increase exports to USD 200 billion in the medium term. No one should doubt this. Our target is clear: the target is Turkey with a foreign trade surplus."
