BOSAD and Eleman.net to collaborate

BOSAD and Eleman.net sign protocol to address skilled workforce needs in paints sector.  Eleman.net CEO Levent Dicle emphasized that BOSAD represents 85 per cent of the paints sector and that member companies have significant export potential to 160 countries, stressing that the collaboration will serve as an example for all sectors.

Eleman.net, Turkey's leading employment platform for blue-collar and mid-level positions, will contribute to meeting the qualified workforce needs of the paints sector. According to Trade Ministry data, Turkey ranks as Europe's fifth-largest paint manufacturer. The Paints Manufacturers Association (BOSAD), which hosts 300,000 employees and 250 members, represents Turkish paint industry.

The association focuses on qualified workforce needs to strengthen the sector's position in the international arena and to accelerate the development process of the paint industry.

To address qualified workforce needs in the paints sector, BOSAD and Eleman.net, Turkey's leading employment platform, have joined forces by signing a cooperation protocol.

"Finding qualified workers has become increasingly difficult"

On the collaboration, Eleman.net CEO Levent Dicle said: "The paints sector plays an important role in our country's economic development. After Germany, Spain, France and Italy, our country ranks as the 5th largest sectoral producer. To climb higher rankings, we first need to close the gap in qualified workers. In recent years, finding both qualified workers and those requiring training has become increasingly difficult in the industrial sector. As a result of our cooperation with BOSAD, we aim to carry out work that will serve as an example to other sectors."

"A continuously evolving and growing industry also creates labour gaps"

On the current state and needs of the paints sector, BOSAD Board Chairman Kenan Baytaş spoke as follows: "Turkish paint industry is one of the industrial sectors with global standard production quality that holds an important place in the international market and contributes significantly to the country's economy. We can say that one of the most pressing issues facing our sector right now is the need for qualified workers. To strengthen our competitive position in the international arena and develop our production capacity, we need to solve the labour problem. We believe that as a result of our cooperation with Eleman.net, we will achieve successful outcomes in workforce procurement."
