İKMİB Presents Export Award to Beta Kimya

BETA Kimya A.Ş., one of the chemical industry's innovative and leading companies, became the country's second-largest exporter of adhesives and glues in the 2017 İKMİB Stars of Exports awards, which İKMİB organized for the third time this year.

BETA Kimya A.Ş., one of Turkey's largest adhesive manufacturers, crowned its export success in the chemical sector with another award. At the "2017 İKMİB Stars of Exports" ceremony, organized by İKMİB to honor and encourage the export achievements of member companies operating in the chemical sector, BETA Kimya received the second-place award in the "Adhesives, Glues, Enzymes Exports" category. At the 2017 İKMİB Stars of Exports Awards ceremony held at Raffles Istanbul Zorlu Center, a total of 120 awards were distributed across 24 categories. Adil Pelister, Chairman of the Board of BETA Kimya A.Ş., who accepted the award on behalf of the company, stated: "In 2017, which was declared the Year of Export Thrust, we achieved significant success together with the major contributions of our esteemed President Murat Akyüz and the strength of our exporters. Despite the challenges in neighboring regions throughout the year negatively affecting sector exports, we are proud to have reached our chemical exports target of USD 16.1 billion. Since 2011, we have continuously held first place in Turkey's exports in the 'Adhesives' category. At the 2017 İKMİB Stars of Exports ceremony, where we have received an award for three consecutive years, we became Turkey's second-largest exporting company in the 'Adhesives, Glues, Enzymes Exports' category in 2017. Despite relocating part of our production to the Istanbul Free Trade Zone, achieving second place in exports is of significant importance. Additionally, our company ranks among the top 500 firms listed in ISO and, beyond these achievements, is also among the 250 companies investing most heavily in R&D. We extend our thanks to all our stakeholders, particularly our customers, for enabling us to achieve this success.
