Baykon Celebrates 35th Anniversary

Baykon celebrated its 35th anniversary with great enthusiasm at Kalamış Istanbul Sailing Club, together with all employees and their families.The celebration, which was attended by over 400 people, began with opening remarks by Board of Directors members Serdar Büyüküstün and Emin Y. Sözer. Baykon is a company that offers quality and reliable service, particularly for the automation sector, with innovative and EU-approved equipment communicating through various communication protocols such as ModBus, ProfiBus, CanOpen, ProfiNet, Ethercat and Ethernet TCP/IP. Beyond this sector, it produces products and solutions with special characteristics for each of the chemical, petrochemical, food, steel, and pharmaceutical industries. For the chemical sector, accuracy and formulation are as important as hygiene is for the food sector, sensitivity, reliability and GMP regulations for the pharmaceutical sector, and durable equipment suitable for heavy and harsh conditions for the steel sector.   It was explained that Baykon's experienced professional team and organization are structured to provide the best service, including calibration and verification, to all these sectors. It was noted that Baykon achieved significant growth in its overseas expansion targets over the past 5 years, established BAYKON Benelux in the Netherlands in 2021, and is currently preparing to establish a company in Germany, followed by the establishment of Baykon subsidiaries in other countries. The Board of Directors members shared with employees the news that a new production center would be opened in the near future. During the evening's program, plaques were presented by the Board of Directors to over 40 employees who have been serving for 10 years and over 20 years. The most important of these are; • Development and production of the world's first microprocessor-based weight and force measurement transmitter, • Monitoring of load cell signal at microvolt level in weight indicators that significantly reduce maintenance time in industry, • Development and production of the world's first industrial weight indicator with IoT output and cloud connectivity for industrial devices. A member of the European Weighing Instrument Manufacturers Federation (CECIP), BAYKON aims to be an important player in the world market as a global Turkish manufacturer in industrial weighing.
