Bayer's New Innovation Roadmap

Bayer has published the Turkey Digital Health and Agriculture Initiatives Map, launched to contribute to the development of entrepreneurs and the startup ecosystem in Turkey. Bayer, which has supported the development of the entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem in Turkey for seven years through the "G4A Startup Acceleration Program" organised together with Hackquarters by Tenity, has updated the "Turkey Digital Health and Agriculture Initiatives Map" prepared to showcase initiatives in the health and agriculture sectors. The map, updated every two years, now includes agriculture initiatives for the first time alongside health initiatives. Following the evaluation of applications, 125 startup companies founded by entrepreneurs in Turkey have been included on the map. The 2024 Turkey Digital Health and Agriculture Initiatives Map encompasses numerous subcategories related to health and agriculture, ranging from telemedicine to hospital and pharmacy solutions, smart agriculture and machinery technologies to methods for combating weeds, diseases and pests. On the map, 82 initiatives in the health sector are grouped under 9 different categories including telemedicine, hospital and pharmacy solutions, biotechnology, mental health, accessible diagnosis and early detection, wearable technology and IoT; in the agriculture sector, 43 initiatives are listed under 6 categories including smart agriculture and machinery technologies, environmental sustainability and methods for combating weeds, diseases and pests. In the updated map by Bayer, which has organised the G4A Startup Acceleration Program for 7 years and contributed TRY 6.5 million to the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Turkey through grants, mentoring, training support and cooperation opportunities, there are also 33 startups selected for the G4A Program in the health and agriculture sectors that continue their work. Communication Support to be Provided Bayer will provide communication support to startups by sharing the "Turkey Digital Health and Agriculture Initiatives Map" on its social media accounts, various media outlets and platforms.
