Areas of Application
Widely used in the processing of low and semi-viscous products, particularly paints, varnishes, pigment paste, ink and cosmetics with low to medium viscosity range, and in applications requiring wet grinding and milling. In this machine where dispersion and milling occur together, the role of grinding beads contained within the grinding basket is significant. By achieving both dispersion and milling with a single machine, it provides time and material savings. It is an effective machine type in reducing solid particle size within liquid to minimum levels through milling. Small-scale work can be prepared using the laboratory model of the product.Design
The grinding basket with superior wet grinding capability is designed to ensure high-level milling of the product and intensive circulation of the product through the basket interior. High-efficiency product circulation is achieved by means of a pump-like impeller located below the grinding basket and contributing to dispersion, enabling effective operation completion in short timeframes. Effective heat control is provided through cooling both in the grinding basket chamber and in the jacket. All wet surfaces are manufactured from stainless steel. Another important aspect is the cleaning of the grinding basket and grinding beads, which is easily performed by running them in the product's solvent.Lift and Lower
Equipped with an electro-hydraulic system providing lift and lower capability on its own body, for safety reasons the mixing shafts automatically stop after a certain height.Other Features
An electro-hydraulic clamping device is located on the body to secure the mixing vessel. A cooling motor for the main electric motor enables long-duration operation at low speeds. Vacuum capability on basket shafts is offered as an option, while timer-controlled mixing is standard; heat sensor displaying product temperature; and cast body feature in 1,000 and 2,000-litre capacity models. The cast body of the machine prevents lifetime wear and ensures rigid operation. Mixing speed stepless mixing adjustment is possible with a frequency converter speed control. The machine is equipped with a cover to keep the vessel closed and a raw material feed port. In addition to machine functions, the machine control panel features separate digital displays for mixing motor speeds, amperage, timer, and digital temperature display screens showing the produced product temperature. In the SBM 10L laboratory model type, the mixing basket easily achieves up-and-down movement through a linear rail system. Double-walled construction for cooling purposes is possible in response to grinding basket heating. Basket-Miller is manufactured in compliance with "CE" and occupational health and safety standards.Optional Features
Ex-proof to ATEX Zone 1 EEx dIIB T4 standards, vacuum, pressure, semi or fully automatic recipe control system, and PLS control system capability are offered as optional features.Capacities
