BASF Turns to Schneider Electric Expertise for Intelligent Energy Management at Production Facility

Schneider Electric is providing solutions for intelligent energy management at BASF's production facility in Texas. At the facility's critical electrical transformer management, the integrated EcoStruxure™ Asset Advisor solution is being used, which measures and calculates more than 100 variables, making asset performance more predictable. This enables BASF to remotely monitor 63 assets and increase visibility of its operations. Schneider Electric, a global expert in digital transformation of energy management and automation, is supporting BASF, the world's largest chemical products company, with innovative solutions it provides. Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Asset Advisor application is being used at BASF's new electrical transformer center in Beaumont, Texas. BASF's electrical distribution system supplies energy for all production at the Beaumont facility. Thanks to EcoStruxure Asset Advisor, a condition-based monitoring and predictive analytics service, BASF can monitor the status of new transformer assets through a control panel. With EcoStruxure Asset Advisor, more than 100 variables are measured and calculated for accurate and reliable tracking and management. Additionally, BASF minimizes system failures through consulting it receives from Schneider Electric Service Office.
