BASF Türkiye General Manager Rami Atikoğlu Passes Away

We express our profound sorrow at the passing of BASF Turkey General Manager and BOSAD Board Vice Chairman Rami Atikoğlu. As Artkim Group, we offer our condolences to his memory, and extend our sympathies to his family, loved ones and friends. A ceremony for Rami Atikoğlu will be held on 17 January at 14:00 at the BASF Innovation Centre within Pendik Technopark. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, 18 January in İskenderun with his family in attendance. Who was BASF Turkey General Manager Rami Atikoğlu?

Rami Atikoğlu was born in İskenderun in 1968. He graduated from the Chemistry Department of Middle East Technical University in 1990. Atikoğlu began his career as Research and Development Manager in the Automotive OEM Paints Division at Akzo Nobel. At BASF, where he started work in 2004 as Automotive OEM Paints Sales Manager, he held various positions including country manager. Appointed Sales Director responsible for Turkey and Azerbaijan in January 2016, Atikoğlu has served as BASF Turkey General Manager since 1 April 2018, in addition to his Sales Director responsibilities. Rami Atikoğlu was fluent in Turkish, English and Arabic. He was married and the father of one daughter.
