Social Responsibility Project from Aysaf

The International Footwear Components Trade Fair "AYSAF" will welcome visitors at Istanbul Fair Center between 15-18 November 2023. Artkim Fuarcılık, AYSAD Derneği and Teknik Kimya, together with Turkey Spinal Cord Paralytics Association, are launching a significant corporate social responsibility project within the scope of the fair. During AYSAF Fair held between 15-18 November, collected plastic caps and steps taken throughout the fair via the Help Steps application will be donated to support Turkey Spinal Cord Paralytics Association (TOFD). The conference programme of the fair, called "Aysaf Talks", has been announced. Throughout the four-day conference programme, representatives from leading companies in the sector and prominent figures in the footwear industry will deliver presentations. Safa Şahin, Head Designer of Balmain & Bottega Veneta Footwear Department, whose name we frequently hear online, is also among the speakers. In his presentation on the first day of the fair, Safa Şahin will discuss the design process and innovative perspectives. On the second day of the fair, Fehim Akar, Founding Partner of Elle Shoes, a veteran name in the sector, will share Elle Shoes' career story and impart valuable insights on the future of the industry. The "Aysaf Talks" programme will feature a panel session on the first day of the fair between 14:00-15:15. In the panel moderated by Neslihan Maltepe, Emel Taymaz, Founding Partner of Atelier İstanbul Shoes, Emine Topçu, Brand Manager of Depart Group Footwear, and Özlem İkiışık Barutçu, Founder of Suespadril, will discuss "The Importance of Female Employment and Women Entrepreneurship in the Footwear and Footwear Components Industry".
