AYSAF Generates $500 Million in Trade
Turkey's footwear component industry gathered at the 61st International Footwear Component Industry Fair (AYSAF), held at CNR EXPO Yeşilköy across 60,000 square meters.
CNR Holding Chief Executive Officer Ali Bulut said, "At the fair, more than 450 companies shaping the footwear component sector connected their new products and technologies with a total of 12,568 industry professionals, of which 11,010 were domestic and 1,558 were foreign.
Our fair, which we organize twice a year, makes a significant contribution to the footwear component industry and thus to the footwear sector. The companies participating in AYSAF realized business connections worth approximately USD 500 million at the fair."
The 61st International Footwear Component Industry Fair (AYSAF), which played an important role in the development of Turkey's footwear component sector, was held at CNR EXPO Yeşilköy.
Organized in collaboration with Pozitif Fuarcılık, a CNR Holding entity, the Turkish Footwear Sector Research and Development Foundation (TASEV) and the Footwear Component Manufacturers Association (AYSAD), the fair attracted more than 450 companies shaping the footwear component sector.
The fair, showcasing all innovative products for the sector from sole to heel, accessories to textiles and chemicals, leather and synthetic leather, was held across 60,000 square meters.
Strong Interest from Foreign Buyers
Evaluating AYSAF, CNR Chief Executive Officer Ali Bulut said, "At the fair, companies shaping the footwear component sector connected their new products and technologies with a total of 12,568 industry professionals, of which 11,010 were domestic and 1,558 were foreign. The fair attracted strong participation from Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Germany, Iran, Pakistan, India, Spain and Turkic Republics. Middle Eastern, African, Eastern and Central European countries showed particular interest in the trends presented at the fair. This year, there was national participation from India for the first time. The Indian Footwear Component Manufacturers Association visited the fair, opening the way for business connections that will further expand footwear trade between the two countries.
