# URGE Project from ATB

Antalya Ticaret Borsası (ATB) has launched the Support for the Development of International Competitiveness (URGE) project to open its members with export potential in fresh fruits and vegetables to international markets. Under the "Development of Fresh Vegetables and Fruits Exports from Antalya Province" URGE project, foreign trade training was provided to company representatives operating in the fresh fruits and vegetables sector. Antalya fresh vegetables and fruits exporters received practical training on potential products and access routes to potential importing companies in countries identified within the project framework. During the online training, participants' questions were also answered.

A project to increase exports and production

ATB Chairman Ali Çandır made the following remarks on the matter:

He noted that the "Development of Fresh Vegetables and Fruits Exports from Antalya Province" URGE project was launched upon the request of the 3rd Professional Committee. Emphasizing that Antalya is a very significant center in fresh fruits and vegetables production, Çandır said that with this project, they aim to increase the export potential of ATB members by establishing their international connections.

Çandır continued his remarks as follows:

"By directing increasing production towards exports, our producers can earn more income. Our goal is more production, more exports." Çandır stated that through the training provided within the project framework, companies' infrastructure has also been strengthened.
