Aselsan Extends Sustainable Growth into 2026

ASELSAN, one of the leading companies in the defense industry, announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2026. The disclosure made through the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) showed that the company maintained its strong operational performance.

ASELSAN, a leading defence industry organization, has released its financial results for the first quarter of 2026. In a notification made through the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the company demonstrated sustained strong operational performance.

In the first three months of 2026, ASELSAN's revenue reached TRY 34.3 billion, representing a real increase of 15% compared to the same period of the previous year. During the same period, newly signed export contracts rose 69% to USD 629 million, while the order backlog increased 39% to reach USD 20.7 billion.

The company's operational profitability continued to strengthen. EBITDA margin rose to 25.2%, while the net debt/EBITDA ratio declined to 0.41, indicating a further consolidation of the financial structure.

Rapid Growth in Investments and R&D Spending
In the first quarter of the year, ASELSAN significantly increased its investments and R&D spending. R&D expenditures reached USD 357 million with a 41% increase, while investments directed toward serial production rose 261% to USD 137 million. These investments rank among the core elements of the company's high-technology-focused growth strategy.

In particular, capacity expansion projects, notably led by the Oğulbey Technology Hub, emerged as critical steps supporting ASELSAN's production capacity and global competitiveness.

Export and Global Growth Focus
In the first quarter of 2026, ASELSAN signed new contracts valued at a total of USD 1.26 billion. Approximately half of these contracts were export-driven, while the company's presence in international markets continued to strengthen.

The disclosed data demonstrated that ASELSAN made a strong start to 2026 both financially and operationally, and continues to sustain its growth momentum.
