"AS's of ASAŞ" Project Competition Concludes

ASAŞ's traditional "ASAŞ's ASes Project Competition," where employees transform innovative ideas into projects, was completed for the 11th time this year with strong participation and enthusiasm. In addition to category-based awards, the best project of the year was also identified.

The "ASAŞ's ASes Project Competition," organized annually by ASAŞ to strengthen its internal entrepreneurship culture and support employees in transforming ideas developed in areas ranging from production to digitalization, efficiency to sustainability into concrete projects, was held for the 11th time this year.

The competition, which has become traditional, is based not only on employees generating ideas but also on transforming these ideas into projects that have been implemented in the field and produce measurable results. Among the evaluation criteria for projects submitted to the competition are the implementation being deployed in the field and the outputs being supported by concrete data. This approach demonstrates that at ASAŞ, innovation does not remain at the idea stage; it directly transforms into operational, environmental and institutional benefits.

Projects were evaluated in the following categories: Setting Sector Direction, Shaping the Future with Innovation, Strengthening with Digitalization, Making a Difference with Efficiency, Protecting the Future with Sustainability, and Elevating Employer Brand. Outstanding projects in the categories were awarded as "Shining Project" and "Inspiring Project," while the work selected from all projects and creating the highest impact earned the title "ASAŞ's ASe." Duygu Turan, who won the "ASAŞ's ASe" title with her project and a prize of a 2-person vacation abroad, received the award from ASAŞ General Manager Derya Hatiboğlu.

Focus areas such as energy efficiency, digitalization, sustainability, process efficiency and employee experience, which are among ASAŞ's strategic priorities, formed the fundamental axis of the projects evaluated in the competition. Projects developed in these areas contributed directly both to improving current operations and to creating added value for the future.

The "ASAŞ's ASes Project Competition" continues to be a strong platform demonstrating that employees are not just part of processes but active stakeholders in the institution's development. ASAŞ continues to view and support the knowledge and creative potential of its employees as one of the fundamental elements of institutional development.
