Anadolu Efes Takes New Step in Growth Strategy Across Different Categories

Anadolu Efes completed the process of acquiring a 60 percent stake in Tariş Alkol A.Ş. With this investment, the company continues its objective of creating long-term value not only in its existing business areas but also in different categories.

With 57 years of production experience, Anadolu Efes ranks among Europe's top 5 and the world's top 10 beer companies. In line with its long-term growth strategy, the company continues to diversify its business areas.

As part of this strategy, Anadolu Efes completed the process of acquiring a 60 percent stake in Tariş Üzüm Alkollü Alkolsüz İçecekler Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Tariş Alkol A.Ş.), an affiliate of S.S. Tariş Üzüm Tarım Satış Kooperatifleri Birliği.

The transaction, executed through AE Mercan Distile İçecekler Pazarlama A.Ş. in which Anadolu Efes holds a 50.1 percent stake, was completed at approximately USD 25.4 million following receipt of preliminary approval from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and completion of other conditions specified in the agreement.

With the transaction announced to the public on 2 April 2026, Anadolu Efes aims to evaluate growth potential in different beverage categories and transfer its production, distribution and operational competencies to new areas.
