ALPLA Makes 30 Million Euro Investment in Two New Factories in Türkiye

Plastic packaging and recycling company ALPLA has opened two new production facilities in Adana and İzmir with a total investment of 30 million euros. With these investments, the company's annual processing capacity in Türkiye has increased from 90 thousand tons to 120 thousand tons. The company plans to invest an additional 40 million euros in Türkiye over the next five years.

ALPLA, which has been operating in Türkiye since 1992, has increased its production capacity by approximately one third with the Adana and İzmir investments. The new facilities are aimed at providing production close to customers, shorter delivery times and supply security.

New facilities in Adana and İzmir

The Adana facility, established with an investment of approximately 10 million euros, produces on 12 thousand square meters of covered area using PET preform, HDPE and PP blow molding technologies. Once the facility reaches full capacity, it is expected to provide direct employment for approximately 80 people.

In İzmir, a new production facility with 26 thousand square meters of covered area was commissioned with an investment of 20 million euros. In the long term, the facility is planned to have a total capacity of up to 65 thousand tons in PET preform, cap, HDPE and PET blow molding production. The İzmir facility is expected to provide direct employment for approximately 120 people.

40 million euros more investment over five years

ALPLA plans to make an additional investment of approximately 40 million euros in Türkiye over the next five years. The investments are expected to focus on machine capacity, automation, technology modernization, production efficiency and sustainability.

With these investments, the company aims to increase its production capacity by 25 percent and its revenue by 40 percent.

While the new facilities use AI-based production monitoring, automation and digital traceability systems, the two facilities have a total installed solar power capacity of 2.5 MW.

ALPLA has production operations in Kocaeli, Ankara, Konya, Adana and İzmir in Türkiye. The company operates 206 production facilities in 45 countries and achieved a turnover of 5.2 billion euros in 2025.
