Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Turkey Announces Key Appointment

İlknur Pekbay appointed Patient Advocacy Leader at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Turkey
İlknur Pekbay completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Istanbul University and a master's degree in Business Administration. With extensive experience in the pharmaceutical sector, İlknur Pekbay began her role as Patient Advocacy Leader at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Turkey as of June 2024.
Throughout her career, İlknur Pekbay has spent over 15 years working in clinical research and regulatory affairs. For the past 6 years, she has been active in patient advocacy relations. Prior to joining Alexion, she held the position of Patient Advocacy Leader at Novartis Turkey and took on various responsibilities in digital solutions and patient advocacy relations across Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East regions, which she successfully executed.
In her new role, İlknur Pekbay will lead patient-focused projects by establishing strategic collaborations with patient associations and will contribute to the mission of developing innovative solutions at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Turkey.
