Alapala Holding Prepares for New Investment in Cooperation with SATAKE

Alapala Holding, in cooperation with Japan's leading food processing technology company SATAKE, is carrying out a significant investment in Çorum that will support regional employment and the local economy. Through this investment, called REACH 3, Alapala will begin paddy processing and rice production adhering to natural and sustainable agriculture principles, with the goal of bringing Çorum's renowned Osmancık rice to international markets.

Alapala Holding, one of the world's leading companies in food processing technologies, has decided to establish an advanced rice processing facility and training center in Çorum. The REACH 3 facility, developed together with its strategic partner SATAKE Corporation based in Japan, aims to make significant contributions to regional agriculture and economy while offering training programs that add value to the sector.
The new REACH 3 rice processing facility represents an important step in the modernization of Turkey's agricultural sector and in increasing its competitive strength in world markets. Equipped with state-of-the-art rice processing systems developed by SATAKE Corporation, a Japan-based strategic partner of Alapala, REACH 3 stands out for its high efficiency, flexibility and advanced quality control features. Additionally, the Rice Process Technologies Academy to be established within REACH 3 will provide training programs to both farmers in the region and professionals interested in the sector, contributing to the sector's development.

Capacity: With paddy processing capacity of 3 tons per hour, it will be Turkey's most advanced paddy processing facility.
Quality Control: Quality checks conducted at every stage will preserve the rice's natural structure and yield the highest quality products.
Energy Efficiency: With state-of-the-art equipment, energy consumption will be minimized, ensuring environmentally responsible production.
Automation: High-level automation will optimize production processes.
Hygiene: Designed in compliance with food safety standards, the facility will provide a hygienic production environment.
Facility Design: REACH 3 machines, developed using SATAKE's latest research and knowledge, are notable for their high efficiency and minimal maintenance requirements. The facility consists of machines arranged along a 19.2-meter line according to process sequence and occupies less space compared to a conventional facility.
Installation Process: The system, initially assembled at SATAKE facilities, will be shipped disassembled and installed and commissioned within 8-12 weeks.
Advanced Quality Control Technology: REACH 3 facility is equipped with high-resolution RGB cameras and color-shape separation technology. This system precisely detects foreign materials mixed in products according to color and shape characteristics and identifies all details discernible to the human eye.
