Aksa Enerji has reached an important milestone in its global growth strategy by bringing the Kızılorda Combined Heat and Power Plant in Kazakhstan to full capacity. The commencement of commercial operations at the 264 MW natural gas-fired power plant has strengthened the company's presence in Central Asia and accelerated regional growth momentum.
Operating 12 power plants across 7 countries with installed capacity exceeding 3,000 MW, Aksa Enerji has further expanded its international portfolio with this investment.
IMPLEMENTED UNDER 15-YEAR CAPACITY AGREEMENT
The Kızılorda Combined Heat and Power Plant was brought online under a 15-year capacity agreement signed with Financial Settlement Center of Renewable Energy LLP (RFC), which is affiliated with Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy.
The long-term agreement supports the company's predictable revenue model while strengthening Aksa Enerji's sustainable investment approach.
HIGH-EFFICIENCY SIMULTANEOUS ELECTRICITY AND HEAT GENERATION
Operating with combined heat and power (CHP) technology, the Kızılorda Plant will generate both electricity and heat simultaneously, delivering high resource efficiency.
The plant is expected to contribute to Kazakhstan's energy supply security while driving regional economic activity and creating local employment opportunities.
