Aksa Doğalgaz Acquires AGDAŞ

Aksa Doğalgaz has further strengthened its leading position in the sector by completing the acquisition and transfer process of AGDAŞ Adapazarı Gaz Dağıtım A.Ş., Türkiye's 8th largest natural gas distribution network. With this strategic step, Aksa Doğalgaz has entered a new growth phase in terms of scale, coverage area and operational depth.
Aksa Doğalgaz has completed the acquisition and transfer of AGDAŞ Adapazarı Gaz Dağıtım A.Ş., which operates Turkey's 8th largest natural gas network, further strengthening its leading position in the sector. With this strategic move, Aksa Doğalgaz has entered a new growth phase in terms of scale, coverage area and operational depth.
Aksa Doğalgaz, Europe's fourth largest natural gas distribution company, has continued its growth with over 20 years of sector experience, and has significantly increased its operational capacity with the integration of AGDAŞ, which operates within Erdem Holding.
30 Provinces, 8.3 Million Subscribers, 72,500 Kilometre Network
Aksa Doğalgaz Board Chairman Yaşar Arslan, noting that the company continues its growth strategy with the strength drawn from Kazancı Holding's half-century of knowledge and experience, emphasized that the acquisition represents an important turning point for the company.
Arslan made the following remarks on the matter:
"With the integration of AGDAŞ into our company, Aksa Doğalgaz has entered a new phase in terms of scale, coverage area and operational depth. Today, we safely deliver natural gas to 8.3 million subscribers across 30 provinces, 367 districts and municipalities. Our network, which has reached 72,500 kilometres, has attained a size that could circle the world approximately twice. Our priority is to continue a management approach that integrates infrastructure safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction in an integrated manner, based on sustainable value creation. With our long-term investment perspective, strong governance structure and sustainability approach, we will continue to add lasting value to Turkey's energy infrastructure."
Safe and Uninterrupted Natural Gas Supply Across a Wider Geography
Operating in 24 of Turkey's 73 natural gas distribution licence zones, Aksa Doğalgaz aims to expand its area of responsibility further with this acquisition, maintaining customer satisfaction-focused, safe and uninterrupted natural gas supply as its core approach.
