Aksa Akrilik to Build Vocational High School in Yalova
Aksa Akrilik, a company from the Akkök Holding group, is preparing to add another initiative to its education support in Yalova. The protocol for a new technical high school to be built in Çiftlikköy has been signed.
Aksa Akrilik, the world's leading acrylic fiber producer, continues to contribute to Yalova. Since commencing operations in 1971, Aksa has invested in numerous projects and corporate social responsibility initiatives in Yalova and will now bring a new technical high school to the city.
The protocol ceremony for the new school investment to be constructed in Çiftlikköy district was held with the participation of Yalova Governor Muammer Erol, Yalova Provincial Directorate of National Education Director Dr. Abdülaziz Yeniyol, and Aksa Akrilik General Manager Cengiz Taş.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Cengiz Taş noted that Aksa has made numerous investments, particularly in education, for the regional development of Yalova, and stated that the new technical high school project will make a significant contribution to the city. In his remarks, Taş drew attention to the distinct role vocational high schools hold in education and expressed that they consider the work in this field highly valuable. Wishing the new technical high school to benefit the people of Yalova, Taş stated that support for Yalova will continue.
Designed with latest innovations
The new technical high school, whose construction will be undertaken by Aksa Akrilik, will be completed within three years and made available to the people of Yalova. The high school, designed with all requirements of vocational education in mind, will also incorporate the latest innovations of the modern era. To be built on an area of 5,270 square meters, the school will house 24 classrooms, 2 laboratories, 1 library, and an indoor sports facility of 942 square meters. Upon completion of construction, the school will be handed over on a turnkey basis to the Ministry of National Education.Advertisement
