Aksa Akrilik and Akkim Kimya on the Fortune 500 list

Results of Fortune magazine's "Fortune 500" research, which identifies Turkey's largest organizations, have been announced. Aksa Akrilik and Akkim Kimya, subsidiaries of Akkök Holding operating in Yalova, succeeded in making the list again this year while continuing their upward trajectory in the overall ranking based on net sales figures. Aksa Akrilik and Akkim Kimya, subsidiaries of Akkök Holding operating in Yalova, managed to be included in the Fortune 500 list again this year. In the overall list, Aksa Akrilik rose to 74th place while Akkim Kimya climbed to 252nd position.

Aksa Akrilik in top 100

Aksa Akrilik, Turkey's sole and the world's leading acrylic fiber manufacturer, rose 13 positions to 74th place in the overall list with total sales of TRY 8,348,157,000 in 2021. Aksa Akrilik, which again succeeded in entering Turkey's largest 100 companies this year, also achieved the highest 43rd ranking in Earnings Before Interest and Taxes. The company also maintained its upward momentum in the chemicals sector category, rising to 3rd place.  

Akkim advanced 69 positions

Akkim Kimya, one of Turkey's leading chemical raw material manufacturers, succeeded in advancing 69 positions to 252nd place in the overall list with net sales of TRY 2,328,828,000 in 2021. The company became the 50th organization with the highest increase in exports by raising its exports by 212% in one year. Akkim also rose 2 positions in the chemicals sector, reaching 7th place.
