Adil Pelister Announces Candidacy for Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) Presidency
İKMİB Board Member and Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) Deputy Chairman Adil Pelister has announced his candidacy for the TİM Chairmanship. Pelister, who served two terms as Chairman of the İKMİB Board of Directors, had led the chemical sector's rise in exports.
Adil Pelister, Member of the İKMİB Board of Directors and Vice Chair of the Turkey Exporters Assembly (TİM), announced his candidacy for the TİM Chairmanship. Pelister, who served as İKMİB Board Chair for two terms, led the chemical sector's growth in exports.
"We Are Setting Out for the Entire Export Community"
In his candidacy announcement, Pelister drew attention to the transformation taking place in global trade, stating his aim to establish TİM as a more inclusive and solution-focused organization.
Pelister expressed the following in his announcement:
"We are in a period where global trade is being reshaped and sustainability and digitalization are coming to the fore. We are setting out to place the experience we have gained at İKMİB at the service of the entire export community. TİM will be a center that produces quick solutions to exporters' problems and develops policy."
Stating that they are embarking with the motto "THE TIME IS NOW FOR TİM," Pelister said that in the coming period he will share his vision and projects with the public.
About Adil Pelister:
Born in Istanbul in 1962, Adil Pelister is a graduate of the Chemical Engineering Department at Istanbul Technical University. Pelister founded Beta Kimya in 1987 and has been active in the chemical sector for many years.
During Pelister's tenure as İKMİB Board Chair between 2018–2026, the chemical sector rose to become Turkey's second-largest exporting sector. Pelister currently continues in his positions as İKMİB Board Member and TİM Vice Chair.
