Accuride Extends Warranty on Coating Technology Products

Accuride Corporation, a leading supplier of components to the commercial vehicle industries in North America and Europe, has increased its warranty coverage on the corrosion-resistant properties of its advanced Steel Armor™ and EverSteel® steel wheel coating technologies, demonstrating its confidence in the products.

Steel Armour™ Combined with 5-Year Standard Warranty

Accuride, with its Steel Armor premium powder topcoat, has addressed the demanding requirements sought for steel wheels. Steel Armor now carries a standard five-year limited warranty against corrosion. Steel Armour's three-stage powder coating can be applied to every steel wheel produced by Accuride in North America. As specified in the warranty documentation, Accuride covers Steel Armour-coated wheels against rust damage for a period of 60 months from the stated manufacturing date.

8-Year Extended EverSteel® Warranty

Accuride has also extended its warranty period against corrosion for its proprietary EverSteel coating to eight years. EverSteel demonstrates a new level of corrosion resistance, with an advanced corrosion protection system that resists debris that may be thrown from the road and creates a hard barrier that isolates the wheel from the harshest elements. By delaying the onset of corrosion by eight years or more before replacement, EverSteel succeeds in extending the service life of the wheel.
