The honor guest at the 5th anniversary event held at the company's headquarters was Otsuka Pharmaceutical Chairman İchiro Otsuka. During his remarks at the event, Abdi İbrahim Board Chairman Nezih Barut noted that the pharmaceutical sector holds strategic importance in the development of commercial relations between the two countries, stating that Abdi İbrahim Otsuka is the finest example of well-established commercial relations and friendship with Japan. Noting that Abdi İbrahim's commitment to improvement combined with Otsuka's innovative character has provided significant contributions to both companies, Barut said, "Abdi İbrahim Otsuka is not merely a structure created through a partnership of two different companies; it is also a fine example of the harmony between two different cultures." Expressing his satisfaction that the successful business cooperation with Abdi İbrahim has continued for five years under a strong partnership umbrella, Otsuka Pharmaceutical Chairman İchiro Otsuka said, "In 2012 when we signed the agreement, Abdi İbrahim was celebrating its 100th anniversary; we will celebrate ours in 2021.
