Abdi İbrahim Makes New Recruitment Decision Abdi İbrahim's investments and initiatives aligned with its five-year strategic plan and vision are yielding positive employment outcomes. The company, citing its field medical representative workforce as its greatest asset, has announced plans to expand its workforce by 200 personnel. Abdi İbrahim Board Chairman Nezih Barut stated that they will continue investment in 2022, saying: "By evaluating all organic and inorganic growth opportunities, we are serving Turkey's goal of becoming a regional power in pharmaceuticals. Whatever the circumstances, we will maintain our principle of continued investment and employment, and continue to be a model offering hope for youth employment in our country." Through the new employment package, Abdi İbrahim will strengthen both its field workforce and sales and marketing teams. The company, which has Turkey's largest medical representative workforce, will hire 175 personnel for field operations and 25 new graduates for its marketing and sales management program. The recruitment will proceed in line with Abdi İbrahim's five-year strategic plan and vision target of "reaching 1.5 times the current size domestically by 2025."

Nezih Barut: We view every additional job as an investment in the country's future

Abdi İbrahim Board Chairman Nezih Barut commented on the matter as follows: "As a 110-year-old company, we feel responsible toward our sector and country. Even in the most difficult times, we do not delay our investments and want to create added value for all stakeholders within our sphere of influence. As a natural consequence of our well-planned, goal-oriented investments, our continuous contribution to national employment continues." Noting that over the past two years they completed two major acquisition operations—one being the OM Pharma strategic partnership in biotechnology abroad and the other INOLIVA acquisition in consumer health domestically—Nezih Barut stated that additional investments and renovation work are being carried out at the Esenyurt facility within the framework of manufacturing agreements signed with world-leading pharmaceutical companies. Emphasizing that organizational investments continue to gain depth and breadth in international markets, he said: "We are a company with high investment appetite. We are pursuing our growth journey with determination. Our total investment budget for 2022 reached TRY 1.1 billion. With every investment we make, we increase employment potential. We are aware that every additional job we create is an investment in our youth, who represent our country's future."
