Representatives from 80 Countries Gather in Istanbul for Sustainable Peace

The 9th Bosphorus Summit, organized by the International Business Platform (UİP) with the support of the Presidency, brought together politicians, business leaders and thought leaders from 80 countries. Held under the auspices of TİM, the Summit examined universal peace and equal development under the theme of Sustainable Peace and Development for All. TİM President İsmail Gülle, who delivered the opening speech of the Summit, stated: "The USD 15.7 billion in exports we achieved in October, which set a record in the history of the Republic, became the greatest indicator of our future successes. We aim to continue the same success in November as well. I believe we will reach our year-end target of USD 170 billion by achieving new successes." Gülle, citing the new airport project as an example, continued his speech with the words of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk: "Great works and important initiatives can only be achieved through working together." The Summit will host numerous seminars over three days with participants from different sectors.
