43rd Yapı Fuarı-Turkeybuild Istanbul to Take Place on 18-22 April

The Building Fair - Turkeybuild Istanbul 2020, where construction sector trends will be discussed and the latest building technologies and construction products will be exhibited, will take place at TÜYAP between 18-22 April. In addition to providing an opportunity to exhibit and follow the latest building sector products and services in the region, the Building Fair – Turkeybuild Istanbul is also supported by activities that create a bridge between creative and investor minds through its content.

Hyve Group, which organizes fairs for Turkey's leading economic sectors and brings together thousands of foreign investors with local business partners every year, is organizing the 43rd Building Fair – Turkeybuild Istanbul between 18-22 April 2020. The Building Fair – Turkeybuild Istanbul aims to create new business, partnership and procurement opportunities by transferring its strong global network to the construction sector. With this objective, Turkeybuild Istanbul provides a productive platform full of business development activities to support sector strategy, facilitate knowledge exchange, encourage innovation and enable the presentation of new ideas through interaction between the public sector, private sector and academic dimensions of the construction industry.

Over the last 15-20 years, entrepreneurial perspective and big data-driven work have fundamentally changed how business is conducted in many sectors. The construction sector is one of the sectors that has benefited least from these developments; therefore, the way business is conducted still largely relies on traditional foundations and holds great potential for innovation. Similarly, entrepreneurs face difficulties in meeting with the sector and presenting themselves, despite producing outputs that will create major transformation for companies. As the Building Fair, in a project we developed jointly with Demet Demirer, Founder of Change Architect Innovative Management Consulting, we have created the YAPI TECH GARAGE area to fill this gap in the sector, bringing together STARTUPS (techno-ventures) with the construction sector. In areas such as smart construction materials, BIM, virtual reality, augmented reality, management tools, building mobile applications, 3D production, robotic production and Internet of Things, STARTUPS will introduce technologies that offer different possibilities to architects, engineers, project managers, manufacturers, contractors, developers, marketers and end users from the design phase through to building handover. In the experience area of YAPI TECH GARAGE, where startups such as Architicket, Indoora, InSuppliers and Funsef will participate, presentations by ventures and product demonstrations can be experienced first-hand. At a time when the start-up perspective is changing sector dynamics by offering unconventional solutions, the Building Fair, which is preparing to bring together entrepreneurs doing bold work in the construction and real estate sectors, is calling on entrepreneurs who develop technology-based and scalable products specific to the sector and believe "my product will accelerate the sector."
