Preparations Begin for the 3rd Process Safety Symposium 2020
The third Process Safety Symposium will be held between 2–3 June 2020 at Bilişim Vadisi Gebze\Kocaeli, coordinated by Kocaeli Sanayi Odası and organized by Chem Media\Artkim Group.
Process Safety Symposium
The symposium, held under the SEVESO framework, will address topics including ATEX, Pressure Equipment, REACH and the Impact of Digital Transformation in Industry on Process Safety.
Presentations and panels will bring together the knowledge and expertise of national and international legislators, inspectors, academics, sector professionals, product and service developers, and certification bodies.
Turkey's chemical industry operates in the Kocaeli Region with a significant share of 27 percent. Organized through the collaboration and resources of Kocaeli Sanayi Odası, the professional organization of establishments in the region, and Chem Media\Artkim Group, which has provided the chemical industry sector with 13 trade fairs, 6 magazines and news portals and many other sector services, the symposium aims to share with the industry the regulations, technical knowledge, applications, research and development, products and services required to prevent major industrial accidents at facilities containing hazardous substances and to minimize the harm of potential accidents to people and the environment, while ensuring effective and continuous protection at a high level.
