The fair aims to present new and innovative products from leading sector brands, offering participants a broad perspective on the sector's development trajectory. BeautyEurasia, where many of the world's leading cosmetics and beauty brands participate, increased visitor numbers by 14 percent compared to the previous year, welcoming a total of 19,799 visitors from 128 countries, of which 27 percent were international. The participation rate of foreign visitors also showed a 10 percent increase compared to the previous year. As the 19th International Cosmetics, Beauty and Hairdressing Fair, BeautyEurasia continues its preparations without slowing down, with 55 percent of available exhibition space already sold. BeautyEurasia, which brings together products, services and technologies from manufacturers and suppliers worldwide, will facilitate the sharing of new ideas through events and will keep track of sector developments through new product launches. Organized by ICA Events, which arranges fairs for Turkey's leading economic sectors, and serving as one of the most important gateways to the Eurasian market, BeautyEurasia will host a wide range of countries including Italy, South Korea, Japan, Bulgaria, India, Pakistan, Greece, Poland, Ukraine, Iran, Turkmenistan and Taiwan. Drawing attention to the fair's strong demand, BeautyEurasia Fair Director Filiz Mehmedova stated, "For 18 years, BeautyEurasia, Turkey's most important cosmetics fair, has welcomed 19,799 visitors from 128 countries most recently, contributing to sector development and the economy. Hosting new export opportunities, BeautyEurasia is facing particularly strong demand and interest from abroad this year." Highlighting the increase in cosmetics exports across all product groups, particularly cleaning and hygiene products, Mehmedova noted, "In the first nine months of 2023, cosmetics product exports increased by 21.6 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching USD 2.1 billion. Cosmetics exports showed increases across all product groups in the first nine months. Cleaning and hygiene products, which achieved the highest export volumes, increased by 15.6 percent to reach USD 734.8 million in the first half, while baby hygiene products exports rose by 22.6 percent to USD 598.3 million. Hair care product exports increased by 17.2 percent, personal care product exports by 46.3 percent and perfumes and deodorants exports by 37.8 percent. We experienced increased demand and exports across product groups in the first nine months of 2023. As Turkey stands out as an important cosmetics production country, additional supply demand remains high. In the first nine months of 2023, the cosmetics sector achieved export growth above the national average and higher than many other sectors. With cosmetics exports gaining momentum in the third quarter, we can see that BeautyEurasia will continue to create new business, partnership and export opportunities for Turkey this year through its strong regional network."
