LifeClub CHRO Circle hosted CHROs and HR Directors from leading companies with expert speakers. At the well-attended event, striking insights were shared that will reshape corporate human resources strategies.

Acıbadem LifeClub, which offers personalized holistic health management services with a preventive medicine approach, organized a special event for CHROs and HR Directors of Turkey's major companies at Raffles Istanbul. Key human resources management topics were addressed at the LifeClub CHRO Circle Event.

At the event, Researcher-Author Evrim Kuran, Harvard Business Review Turkey Editor-in-Chief Serdar Turan and FutureBright Group Founder Akan Abdula spoke as panelists.

The event bringing together sector professionals discussed wellbeing practices in corporate life and new ideas to improve employee experience. In a business world transformed by digitalization, personalized solutions addressing employee needs were discussed, taking into account new work models such as remote work.

Inspiring Presentations from Business Leaders

The event opened with remarks from Acıbadem LifeClub General Manager Elif Elkin, explaining the importance of preventive medicine and holistic health. Elkin noted that every step corporations take for their employees' wellbeing and health will increase employee commitment and loyalty to the organization.

The first speaker at LifeClub CHRO Circle, Harvard Business Review Turkey Editor-in-Chief Serdar Turan, presented on "Paradigm Shift and Transforming Leadership in the Business World," noting that the future lies in the hands of leaders and that leaders need to reinvent themselves every five years. He demonstrated with research data that organizations must prioritize wellness and wellbeing programs for employees' holistic health. He also emphasized the importance of building strong relationships in both business and personal life.

As the second speaker, FutureBright Group Founder Akan Abdula, shared the topic "A Guide to Retaining Talent When Salary Alone Is Not Enough" with participants. In his presentation, Abdula noted that the business world will operate at reduced capacity until the end of 2025 due to economic fluctuations. He underscored that organizations will need to offer different opportunities in addition to financial resources to retain talent or attract new talent under these conditions. He also addressed the importance of companies avoiding attitudes that would drive talent away. He pointed out that in addition to good salaries, talented employees increasingly demand improvements in health and retirement benefits to remain in organizations.

The final speaker, researcher-author Evrim Kuran, discussed "Wellbeing and Health Touchpoints in Employee Experience." In her remarks, Kuran emphasized that wellbeing and health are crucial for sustainable development, and that ensuring human and talent sustainability is as critical as environmental and societal sustainability. She underscored that employee wellbeing and health are an integral part of the employer brand and inclusion. She stated that the fringe benefits offered are very important for the employer brand to be attractive. She demonstrated with research data that cutting investments in employee social, mental and emotional development significantly reduces employee commitment. She also drew attention to the relationship between equality, fairness and inclusion concepts in the business world with wellbeing and health concepts.
