In 2020, we determined our goals as starting with the policy of "Doing What Has Not Been Done, Not What Has Been Done".   Dermokoz Laboratory Services, in accordance with TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 General Requirements for the Competence of Experiment and Calibration Laboratories Standard and its plans and objectives, aims to follow an impartial, fast, effective, continuous, accurate, stable, reliable and independent policy in accordance with current legislation and quality requirements, while presenting the analyses of Cosmetics, Biocidal Products and Food products accurately and reliably. At the beginning of the issues we consider indispensable are respect for people and sensitivity to the environment; the assurance of the results we provide in the laboratory services we offer, our independence, impartiality and customer confidentiality. Ensuring and maintaining our personnel competence in all parameters related to our field of activity is one of our most fundamental quality policies. We always prioritize the sustainability of our quality management system in order to ensure continuity in maintenance, verification and calibration services for all devices, equipment and consumables that lead us to achieve results in our laboratory, and we do not overlook even the smallest deviation. In our laboratory activities with a usage area of 1,300 m², as a first step, we established Chemical Analysis and Microbiological Analysis units for cosmetic product analysis. In order to fully meet customer needs, we provide services to determine the effectiveness of preservatives used in cosmetic products, to identify microbial contamination, to assess the physicochemical status of the product, to determine the amount of preservatives used, to verify product claims, and to conduct shelf life and stability testing. In accordance with international standards for measuring physical and chemical parameters of biocidal products, microbiological effectiveness testing and determining the content of active substances, we provide services for the analyses required by the Biocidal Products Regulation for biocidal product registration dossiers. Additionally, we serve the market with hygiene sanitation services and technical consultancy for the environmental, machinery and personnel aspects of production facilities. In addition to standard analysis services in our laboratory, we offer specialized services such as particle size determination, rheological property determination, zeta potential determination, and sun protection factor (SPF) measurement, utilizing equipment that is difficult to find elsewhere. In our cytology-histology laboratory that we have established and renovated, reconstructed human skin studies are conducted at a rapid pace by our expert staff. Following completion of this project, we plan to conduct in-vitro tests (such as dermatological testing and moisturizing assessment) that are required for cosmetic and biocidal products within our laboratory. Step by step, we are advancing towards our goals by carefully assembling the pieces of the puzzle. We will very soon present to our customers our comprehensive Food Analysis Laboratory project, which is currently underway. With our policy of doing what has not been done rather than what has been done, which was our initial objective, we aim to prevent companies in our country from having to purchase import analysis services. We are working to bring analyses that cannot currently be performed domestically but are currently procured as services from abroad within our scope of activity.
