CRS-500 Mounting Adhesive Delivers Advantages

CRS-500 Montage adhesive is a water-based multipurpose adhesive designed for the DIY sector and also suitable for professional applications. The key feature of CRS-500 is that it is ready to use for semi-professional and domestic applications, equivalent to powder-based adhesives currently on the market. It offers numerous other advantages, including ready-to-use application with tiles, ceramics, styrofoam wall coverings and plasterboard. No additional additives are required and there is no expiration date. The instant-hold feature is its most important characteristic. Tile-on-tile bonding can be started easily at any time and any location without requiring any intermediate layer or special application method. Glass mosaic applications for kitchen walls or decorative purposes can be completed easily by non-professional users. Household decorative materials such as marble or woodlook styrofoam coatings can be easily bonded with CRS-500. CRS-500 is a blend of modified polymers based on water-based adhesives.

Areas of Use

Styrofoam and other heat insulation boards, wood panels, door and window edge trims, baseboards, lambris, acoustic panels, ceramics, tiles, drywall, PVC and wooden cornice etc. It is used in bonding, assembly and repair of various materials. It adheres to many materials including concrete, wood, metal, EPS, XPS, polyurethane foam, glass, stone, leather and sponge.

Application

For application, ambient temperature should be above 5°C and the application surface should be clean and dust-free. Apply to the material to be bonded or the substrate using point or strip application. Then press firmly and provide support if necessary. As a precaution, it is recommended that heavy and stressed parts be secured for 24 hours. Applied surfaces should not come into contact with water for 24 hours after application. It is sufficient that one surface of the materials to be bonded has an absorbent structure. CRS-500 exhibits very high initial adhesion. As it is water-based, complete drying occurs after water evaporation from its structure. Depending on ambient temperature, this period is between 12-24 hours.
