"Sulfate free" Surfactant Mixture for Shampoo & Personal Care
Teqpon AAB, one of about 90 different raw materials being manufactured at Kale Kimya Group's 10,000 m2 facility in Düzce, is a sulfate-free surfactant mixture with high cleaning performance and cost advantage. To eliminate the carcinogenic effects that sulfated compounds can have in the body, the "sulfate-free" product trend is gaining market popularity. These products contain surfactants rather than SLES. Teqpon AAB is a mixture of: Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate & Lauryl Glucoside & Cocoamidopropyl Betaine Main properties of Teqpon AAB: • Easy and adaptable to use in formulation • Easy processing for shampoo and shower gel • Lower irritation due to sulfate-free composition; mild feel • High foam • Preservative-free • Concentrated product offering stock advantages • Cold-processable, saving energy and time • Rapid and reliable supply • Compatible with 2% salicylic acid dissolution at 20% Teqpon AAB concentration Teqpon AAB can be used in all surfactant-containing formulations. Main applications include: shampoo, shower gel, liquid soap, liquid laundry detergent, and dishwashing liquid. Foam comparison tests between Teqpon AAB and SLES (both at 5% solution) were conducted.
