Teksüt Expands Exports to 37 Countries
Increasing its exports regularly, Teksüt has expanded the number of countries to which it sends products to 37. Teksüt has widened its export range to Singapore, Japan and China in Asia; and to the UK, Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland in Europe.
Teksüt Vice Chairman of the Board Mert Özmen said that they sell white cheese, labneh and cheddar cheese to Japan, and mozzarella and triangle cheese to China. Teksüt, which started its exports by sending products to the United States for the first time in 1997.
Teksüt later included Japan, which is very distant at a distance of 8,500 kilometres from Turkey, and then China in its export range.
Mert Özmen, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Teksüt, made the following statements on the subject:
"We are working for the continuous and regular growth of our exports and for the inclusion of new countries in our export range. We regularly sell our products to Europe, America, Middle East and Asian countries.
In 2021, we started exporting first to Japan and then to China. We are reaching the export targets we set this year. While exporting to 23 countries at the beginning of 2021, this number increased to 28 within the year.
As of today, we have reached 37 countries in 4 continents. In this context, we aim to generate 15 percent of our turnover from exports."
