Isononanoic Acid is a New Addition to Perstorp's Portfolio

Specialty chemicals innovator Perstorp expands its portfolio with the addition of Isononanoic Acid, strengthening its value proposition in the Engineered Fluids and Resins & Coatings segments. Isononanoic Acid is a critical carboxylic acid used in polyol ester synthetic lubricants, as a corrosion inhibitor in coolants, and in alkyd resins and paint driers. Perstorp will provide additional supply with this new launch, particularly for applications where Isononanoic Acid contributes unique and critical properties. Consistent high quality and purity for advanced performance formulation are highlighted benefits. Its branched structure ensures stability and compatibility with both current and future refrigerant gases.
